Challenge of the month:  wear a stinky boot over your head and pick up a dog toy at the same time.   I\u2019ve seen it done: <\/p>\n

We had wind blow down some copper flashing off the garage onto the deck:<\/p>\n

I enlisted the help of my handy handyperson to put it back up:<\/p>\n

I took an unflattering picture of her in action (not allowed to post), so she got retribution when I was defenseless (shouldn\u2019t be allowed to post):<\/p>\n

We had a couple of visitors.   Jake, one of Nick\u2019s co-workers, was in town demoing Skritter to a Chinese language conference, but I forgot to take his picture, so inserting favorite boiler plate picture here:<\/p>\n

Our physics friend Kissa spent a few days.  She prefers cats, much to dog\u2019s dismay:<\/p>\n

Warren Buffet and I are willing to place a 1 billion dollar wager that there is only one place in the world that has Captain Kirk, Spock, a doll sheep (real fur & horns), cactus, a toy filled skull, and a tank of fish all in the same room:<\/p>\n

We had a master chef come over last night:<\/p>\n

Before a captive audience, he prepared and cooked a trout in a thick salt crust: <\/p>\n

Turned out great!  And it was his first try at this:<\/p>\n

DogPic alert.  I held him off as long as I could, but doggy demanded it was his turn for attention.  He is 6 months old, mostly full grown (8 out of 10 lbs): <\/p>\n

He is way too playful for the cat, who often tries to hide to avoid being pestered:<\/p>\n

Cat has discovered a few non-doggy-able places he can go:<\/p>\n

I scratched the lens on my trusty 4 year old point an shoot camera last summer, so I\u2019ve got an excuse to step up my photo game next month.  Am planning on getting an Olympus E-M10 interchangeable lens micro 4\/3 camera when it comes available in a few weeks:  <\/p>\n
