Saw something new on the forest. Looks like Laurel Wilt, although I’m not sure as I don’t think I have any trees in the Laurel family. Those pimple-like strings are sawdust ejected by an invasive beetle:

Elsewhere I spotted something more preferred: dog vomit, a type of slim mold with a unique ability to turn heavy metals into an inert substance:

A couple of years ago I built a trellis hoping to grow a grape tunnel. Slowly getting there:

I also have a bunch of wild wisteria, so this month I built another trellis, this time using wire:

Also trying a simpler twine fence for some more grapes:

Disappointed that we don’t seem to get cicadas here 🙁 But we make up for it with mushrooms 🙂
