Stung by Zeta & Bees

Posted on October 31, 2020November 1, 2020 by brucewinter

Hurricane Zeta left us without power for 1.5 days, so I rigged up some solar panels to charge up our phones & laptops:

Our 20 year old heat pump died so we upgraded to a more efficient 24 SEER, 13 HSPF model:

Mystery photo:

My latest trail extension forged 7 steps up a cliff:

In the process I angered a bunch of ankle stinging ground bees and got myself an itchy allergic reaction:

We are enjoying the last greenery of the season:

The drone took a pond tour:

We harvested 25 lbs of sweet potatoes:

The CA -> WA crew are enjoying their new expanded digs:

The boys continue to stack themselves in creative ways, vertically and horizontally:

That mystery photos is a scary needled gadget that I used to meld my phone to my body and learned how my blood sugar responds to various foods:

A Blood Sugar Experiment

Closing with a new tradition, carving our initials into one of our trees each year. This 2020 carving will likely be memorable, for all the 2020 reasons we would rather forget 🙂

Love your videos; not just the drone footage but also the music.

Thanks Jimmy! That is some piano music I made up 20+ years ago.
