Zach and Liz made it official!
In less romantic news, I used AI to turn my smart house into a birder. It snaps then classifies birds using my deck webcam:
Another smarthouse upgrade, a fan in the gazebo that turns on when a sweaty Bruce wonders in:
And another sweat upgrade: after my morning workouts, I un-bask (couldn’t think of a cold equivalent word) with a neck AC gadget:
Zach taught me the joys of reverse garage parking, great for quick get aways after robbing your own house:
In forest news, trees fell, vines grew:
Shrooms shroomed:
Ferns ferned:
A few other biologics did their thing:
And this guy found a hiding spot under my deck:
Bruce

Curious about the top pic? The spikey thing?
And of course, βthereβs a guy with no shirt on Momβ – Olivia πππ
The spikey thing is a seed from a sweetgum tree (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liquidambar_styraciflua ). The seeds are often called burr balls, gum balls, spike balls, or monkey balls. Kind of a nuance, especially if walk around barefoot π
