Root-tures

I found some interesting tree roots deep in our backyard forest and transformed them into root sculptures. I was calling them root-tures, then sculpt-a-root, now I just call them pretty . This one is our new doorman:

This beauty weighs 80 lbs!

Also made a few wood-mats from a newly fallen hickory tree:

I somehow managed to get strep throat without leaving the house for 3 months. This was a shot a couple of days before my right tonsils finally burst:

Our house now counts our coughs and sneezes:

The birds shared some food with the chipmunks:

Our inter-tree super-trail-way expansion continues, some before/after trail shots:

We have started harvesting lots of tasty vegetables:

That mystery photo was sun burned fiddle leaf fig leaf:

Most of our plants are very happy with the sun, we are in peak flower season:

Even doggy was impressed with flower power:

Only this guy was un-impressed, but he is perennially grumpy:
