We are into the travel season. Last month we visited the Carillion clinic in Roanoke VA. It is a pretty town nestled in the Appalachia ‘mountains’, next to the Blue Ridge Parkway:
A few years ago the area physicians and hospital merged into a Mayo clinic like model, and are now looking for an epileptologist. This is their main hospital:

We took a bike ride along a pretty bike path that goes along the river that runs through town:
And drove a bit on the Blue ridge Parkway:
We are going back for a second visit in a few weeks, along with a visit to teaching hospital in Chapel Hill NC. This week we are taking a second visit back to Salt Lake, and finally (we think) a visit to another teaching hospital in Hershey PA in July.
